Know Your Course-Wise Syllabus

The complete portions for both practical and theory subjects have been published course-wise on the official Kreation Arts website, https://kreationarts.in.
Please take time to open the portion for your own course and read it carefully. Knowing exactly what is included makes preparation much easier. Instead of guessing what to study, you can plan your time, divide the topics, and prepare with clarity. We encourage students to cover as much of the prescribed syllabus as possible.
Prepare for Both Theory and Practical
Art is about more than skill with a brush or pencil. It also draws on understanding: the concepts behind a technique, the correct terminology, and the reasoning behind artistic choices. That is why both the theory and practical portions matter.
- Theory preparation helps you understand concepts, recall terminology, and explain your art with confidence.
- Practical preparation builds control, observation, technique, and the ability to present your work neatly and creatively.
A student who balances both is better prepared for any drawing and painting examination. Give equal attention to each rather than leaning on only one.
Practice Makes Your Artwork Stronger
Every artist knows that improvement comes gradually. A line becomes steadier, a colour blend becomes smoother, and proportions start to feel more natural, all through repetition.
Regular practice helps you:
- Observe more carefully, noticing shapes, shadows, and details you might have missed before
- Build technical confidence in the exercises included in your course
- Express your creativity more freely, because your basic skills feel secure
- Present your work better, with cleaner finishing and thoughtful composition
Try to practise the practical exercises more than once. Each attempt teaches you something new, and the difference between your first attempt and your fifth is often remarkable.
Use Kreation Arts YouTube for Practical Preparation

Students are strongly advised to practise their practical portions thoroughly. A valuable resource for this is the Kreation Arts YouTube channel, @Kreationarts9.
The channel offers demonstrations, lessons, and art-related content that you can watch, pause, and revisit as often as you need. Follow along with the demonstrations, then practise on your own. Watching a technique and doing it yourself are very different experiences, and you will learn the most by combining the two.
A Simple Preparation Strategy for Students
If you are wondering where to begin, here is a straightforward approach:
- Check your syllabus first. Visit kreationarts.in and review the practical and theory portions for your course.
- Make a realistic plan. Divide the topics across the weeks you have, and set aside regular time for both theory and practice.
- Revise steadily. Go over techniques, concepts, and terminology a little at a time rather than leaving everything for the last few days.
- Practise practical exercises repeatedly. Use the demonstrations on @Kreationarts9 as a guide, and notice how your work improves.
- Review your own work. Look at your earlier attempts and see what can be refined.
- Rest and stay calm. A relaxed mind observes better and works more confidently.
Consistency matters more than long, tiring sessions. Even a little focused practice each day adds up.
A Message to Our Young Artists
The Annual Examination is not only about being assessed. It is an opportunity to see how far you have come and to take pride in your effort. Every hour you spend practising, every exercise you repeat, and every concept you revise is a step forward in your creative journey.
Approach the examination with discipline, curiosity, and a calm mind. Trust your preparation, express your creativity honestly, and give your best effort on the day.
To our parents, thank you for your continued encouragement. Your support means a great deal to our young artists.
We wish all Kreation Arts students the very best for the Annual Examination 2026.
